Acts 17:27-28
Do You Know Him? Part 2

General Scripture
2 Peter 1:11-16 KJV
For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. [12] Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth. [13] Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance; [14] Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me. [15] Moreover I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance. [16] For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

Scripture Text

Acts 17:27-28
[27] That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: [28] For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

Do You Know Jesus?
                 By
Bishop Joseoh N. Roberts, Jr.
Life in the flesh is full of hard labor and unnerving situations. The souls of human beings are crushed under the depravity of human nature and weighted by the cares of this world. Humanity, forever spiraling downward as systemic pressure personifies in the troubles of one’s mind with no hope and a life of despair on the horizon.

Then,

I heard a call.
I felt a touch.
I sensed a Tug in my heart.

I felt the air calm,
the noise silence,
my heart felt a different rhythm
and my soul had relief.

Then,

My mouth opened and I confessed:

Jesus,

I believe, and my heart receives you as Christ, the Son of the living God.

My life hadn’t changed, but I gained a new sense of peace, a new treasure of joy, a new perspective, a new will, a new fight with a new plight.

My surroundings didn't change that day,but I became a new creature, the agent of Change.
The Christ in me is the hope of Glory.
